Give Me An F
I have to go to work today and am not very enthusiastic about it. I hate working on Saturdays. I can hear the birds singing outside and know that I must be in the office and not out enjoying the weekend.
I thought that I would take a page from companies such as Wal-Mart and Best Buy, that gather up and do a morning cheer before starting the workday. That might pump up some enthusiasm for me. I don't know many cheers but I learned this one sometime in the mid '80's but have forgotten just who to give credit for coming up with this little gem. So anyway, here goes nothing:
Rat's Ass, Bat's Ass
Dirty Old Twat
69 Assholes Tied in a knot
Hey Lizard Shit
F#*k!!!
I feel better already.

I feel inspired myself now. Thanks Fuzz for this great public service. We all need a cheer once in awhile.
Thanks, phoenix. It is a rainy day here so I wouldn't have been able to do anything anyway. But it still galls to be at work.
OMG- I said this out-loud,
and now I feel GREAT!!!
Thanx Fuzz!

starbender: You are very welcome. Hope you are having a good weekend.
siren: Actually the new computer system we are now running has me throwing a conniption fit but on the bright side, it can't get any worse.
Great cheer. I bet the staff of "Cheerleader Nation" could have used it.
Wow Fuzz, I certainly feel better already! Im gonna get out my tennis shoes and my short skirt and cheer all day long!!! LoL
angel,jr: Couldn't have hurt. They could also use it for a soft core porn version of 'Bring it On.' They could call it 'Bring It On, Doggie Style.'
catch: Woo Hoo, sounds like fun!
ranea: Nice to see you out and around. You must be feeling better. Thanks for the cheer.
I always liked the cheer from the movie, 'Wild Cats'.
U-G-L-Y
You ain't got no alibi.
You Ugly.
Say What What What
You Ugly.
I always liked that one.
anon: That is a good one.
mimi: Nice to see you out and about.
p fuzzbox;
sorry you have to work...i got in at 2:00 a.m. this morning so i am glad i don't, then i would need a "cheer" as well...
thanks for stopping to comment at my blog - yeah that woman just amazed me, sorry to say she was soooo pathetic, and i agree, in need of serious help, but i think it's about the perceived "payoff"... really, for some "victims" there is a payoff, not one that i want, but appearing on a 'famous' show like Dr.Phil's is, in a way a "payoff", again, not one that i would choose, but once one can get to the root of just what the payoff is, then one can start doing some real work. i think that woman of Dr.Phil's show is addicted to what...? pain? who knows...it is in a way very complicated, but in another way, really quite simple...but i do think at the heart of it is this stupid notion we have of "love",...'love conquers all'...'all we need is love', the list of maudlin love songs is endless, and we lap 'em up like thirsty puppies!
hope you have a happy Sunday!
cheers for now,
pj
I couldn't stop laughing and then I screamed your cheer outloud. Made me great!
I see you're a fan of George Carlin, too..
Good call.
Thanks, Fuzz, I feel better already! Hope your weekend improved, after having to work...
dragonfly filly: I am short on formality around here, you can type Fuzz for short. It always amazes me the depths people will sink for their fifteen minutes of fame on those shows.
whoami: Thanks, I'm glad you feel better after a little cheer.
bruce: Thanks for pointing that out. I thought it was Carlin but I wasn't sure. Maybe you could clear up something else for me. I could not distinctly remember if it was 69 assholes or 69 douchbags that were tied in knots. Did I get it right? And yes I always thought Carlin was funny.
green eyes: It's hard to keep me down for long. I feel much better thank you.
it is, indeed, 69 assholes.
What's up with the censorship? I thought you told me you were going to regain your balls.
booze is easier
So sorry you had to work today Fuzz. I hope they didn't keep you there long. If it makes you feel better I have to work on Sunday. Except I work from home... so I guess I shouldn't bitch.
But I will be practicing your cheer while I work!
Hey Fuzz-
I've worked weekends my entire life.
You'd think I'd be used to it by now.
Hope your Saturday went ok.
Enjoy Sunday.
Where did another week go?
~Michael
bruce: Cool, it is a wonder that I could remember. A lot of the '80's are a haze for some strange reason.
big d: I don't think it was censorship. I just think fuck is phunnier with the strange symbols. Twat is much more offensive of a word than fuck.
jim: But this was quicker than the liquor.
weirdgirl: Sorry you have to work on Sunday. So do I but hopefully I will finish up quicker today.
michael: Time did fly this week. Hopefully I will be able to spend some time with the family this afternoon.
I have to work every other Saturday so I guess that I have gotten used to it.
metal mark: I used to work a shift that worked every other weekend but it was alright because then we would have a long weekend the next week so it was alright. One of the toughest things to get use to my new job was that before three days in a row was the longest that I would have to work in one stretch. Five days and sometimes six is a pain.
anelize: I bet they would luv it to pieces :)
Working on a Saturday?! GROSS!!
Oh wait... i've done that, but my excuse is that I was working in retail or in a dive shop.
Dive shop. Cool.
o.k. Fuzz"
p.s. i have a neighbour who has the name "Fuzzy" on his automobile vanity plate, lol - great minds?? etc.
Or at least birds of a feather.
That girl looks familar, hmmmmm
phred: She is cool huh.
