Merry Christmastime Damnit

I have always loved Christmastime. In fact, I find myself singing Christmas tunes all your long ( much to the disgust of Angry Joyce). But now that we recieved our first significant snowfall in the past two years, it really feels like Christmas. The cactus in my parents front yard makes for a great looking Christmas tree and the Christmas cactus in my bedroom is blooming wonderfully. This weekend the halls will be decked and the tree will be trimmed. Soon Christmas will be in full swing.

So Merry Christmas Damnit to all and to all safe shopping. And if you find yourself Out And About In West Texas look for me. I will be easy to spot, with a goofy grin on my face, a Santa hat perched on my noggin, singing Feliz Navidad, and stalking under some mistletoe. Gotta luv the season.

Santa Fuzz! Who does Santa want to sit on his lap this year? LOL!

I could not resist that!

hey fuzz-ho ho ho-I love the picture of the snow. Yeah when the music starts and most people are so cheerful and giving, it kinda makes ya smile and puts ya in a better mood. I think when you have kids in the house that believe in Santa, that is just magical.
peace on earth

Yes, NOTHING says "Christmas" like snow on the cactus!

lolly: Thanks for dropping in. I have relatives in East Texas. Center, TX to be exact. The trees are nice but the humidity is a bitch. I can tolerate heat but humidity is a scourge from Hell.

catch: I know some good Tex-Mex and Q joints.

wc: I knew you would agree. Have a great Christmas season.

pissy: Thanks, maybe it will snow in Hell this year. Heaven knows it has been long enough around here.

mimi: Santa prefers naughty girls. ;)

ez: The boy is starting to catch on. But he isn't letting on. He doesn't want to kill the goose that lays the golden eggs.

ray: Merry Fuckin' Christmas to you as well. Nothing like a little Christmas Poo to kick off the season.

johnny: Ain't that the truth.

lisa: Ya know it!!

I never liked Christmas time until I had kids. Now, it's really growing on me.

Just wish we got snow (that fell for more than 3 seconds and actually stuck to the ground)!

I'm gonna look out for you Fuzz, I'll walk the earth looking for the guy with the impish grin and the Santa hat. And when I meet up with you the first thing I'm gonna sing is those immortal lines...

"Now I would walk 500 miles,
and I would walk 500 more,
Just to be the man who walks a 1000 miles,
just to be right at your door"

hahaha,

then you're gonna despatch my ass all the way back to England with your foot up it.

Merry christmas Fuzz.

SNOW! I don't think I'll get to see any except in pictures this year, so thanks for that. We put up all the decorations yesterday and now I'm working on my Christmas list which seems to get longer each year. And I hate shopping...

Just a note..
DO NOT switch to the '' new and improved '' Beta Blogger... the whole thing is a wreck.
Problems posting, problems leaving comments on other blogs, problems uploading pictures..
Oh, yeah, and if you are having trouble.. you should write them a letter..

Angry Joyce is my dear precious soft spoken blushing bride. ;)

ol' lady: Now I am waiting for the elusive second snow so I can make some snow icecream.

phats: I'd take some of it.

ben: I would never do that. Not without sharing some holiday cheer. Tequila is my christmas shot of preference.

paige: I am not to big on shopping but the whole spirit of the occasion washes away most of my distate for shopping.

:P fuzzbox said...

rocky jay: Gotta luv 'em.

cz: Damn straight!!!

erica: Thanks!!! One can never have to much Christmas spirit (but one can occasionally overindulge in Christmas spirits.) But that is just one more redneck Christmas tradition.

pixie: Crank it up. Maybe his shoes are too tight.

phoenix: I try to stay away from females of any age while shopping. Too much distraction.

jim: I know the way.

phred: Write them a letter? I might have forgotten how to do that.

leigh: Woo Hoo. Merry Christmas!!!
