I Got Dragged Into This One

Yesterday I was asked if I could come in and work. I said yes and asked what time I needed to be there. I was then told 4 in the morning. I should have asked that first. See ya later today.

I used to get those calls every other Sunday morning at 5:30 when I worked in my first job. There was one guy who never showed up on Sundays and I was always the one they called. Asshats...

Oh, suckah! See, nurses learn this lesson EARLY! Or you get stuck working a 12 hour shift on the opposite shift!

I normally get up around 4:00 to go to the bathroom. I can do that okay at 4:00, but I sure couldn't be at work at that time.

Anything before 6 am, should be Double " I owe ya ".
You did get that in writing didn`t you ?

david: Uh yeh that would be great.

lisa: The worst part is I didn't get back until 7:30 p.m.

pixie: I wasn't all bad. I got to see both a beautiful sunrise and a gorgeous sunset while 'working.'

mimi: Yep I stepped into that one.

paige: Thanks. At least you are feeling something of mine. ;)

starbender: I did drink lotsa coffee. It was only minimal help though.

bruce: Such is the sin of being dependable or a sucker.

foundme: I worked my shift and half the other. That sucks.

ben: Yep.

curare: I have had this pic saved for awhile. I knew it would come in handy for a post sooner or later.

granny: Live and learn, I suppose.

jim: I will try to come up with a commentless comment and post it on your site.

mark: I actually beat the alarm clock getting up. That's just wrong.

phred:Maybe I will get employee of the month with special parking privaleges. Gotta aim high.

catch: I would have in my youth. But now I need my beauty sleep. Hopefully one day it will help.

michael: I am sure that there are a lotta suckers out there. I am just one of the horde.

mike: Uhhh, yeh.

ol lady: I am just Mr. Dedication. I need to make up in advance for the no gossiping memo.

keshi: At one time I had the same sleep schedule.

jane: Well put.

mine was kind of funny at the time -- I tried to think of jobs that would require you to be there are 4:00 AM -- but Blogger ate my list

You got dragged to work, but I see that illustration as a much nicer prospect - looks like fun, rolling around with a bunch of tentacles...
