Yesterday I was asked if I could come in and work. I said yes and asked what time I needed to be there. I was then told 4 in the morning. I should have asked that first. See ya later today.
I used to get those calls every other Sunday morning at 5:30 when I worked in my first job. There was one guy who never showed up on Sundays and I was always the one they called. Asshats...
I was raised in the military..my father taught me many many lessons..the first one was..."Never volunteer."...daddy said the last time he volunteered they sent him to germany to fight them...

Just when you get out....they pull you back in...
it ate the comment that I posted -- you owe me one comment
I normally get up around 4:00 to go to the bathroom. I can do that okay at 4:00, but I sure couldn't be at work at that time.
Anything before 6 am, should be Double " I owe ya ".
You did get that in writing didn`t you ?
If I had to be at work at 4am I would have to stay up all night!!! lol...honest!
Takes a special type of guy to suck it up and go in. Not many would.

paige: Thanks. At least you are feeling something of mine. ;)

mike: Uhhh, yeh.
ol lady: I am just Mr. Dedication. I need to make up in advance for the no gossiping memo.
keshi: At one time I had the same sleep schedule.
jane: Well put.
mine was kind of funny at the time -- I tried to think of jobs that would require you to be there are 4:00 AM -- but Blogger ate my list
You got dragged to work, but I see that illustration as a much nicer prospect - looks like fun, rolling around with a bunch of tentacles...
ouch =/
