It's The Real Thing

Yesterday, I had my weekly indulgence of a real Coke. No I am not talking about Coca Cola Classic over Diet Coke, I am talking about a real honest to goodness Coke. I have always heard the rumor that the New Coke bullshit idea was just an attempt to pull the wool over peoples eyes thinking that the real Coca Cola was back. When the switch happened Coke was made with pure cane sugar. After the New Coke crap was shit canned, Coca Cola Classic came back sweetened with high fructose corn syrup. Like a lot of folks, I dropped my Pepsi can and came back to the close to real thing. But now I have found that Real Coke is still around. It's just a little harder to find and comes straight out of Mexico.

Pop the top on the 12 ounce glass bottle, and let the frost filter up the bottle and it is a trip back to the coke days of yesteryear. When a real Coke was the real thing. In all it's sugar rushed glory.

I have heard this from a few people. I guess I am just too addicted to coke(drinking ha!) that I never really noticed, I enjoy pepsi too though.

May all your addictions be legal.

Or at least Mexican.

I am a coke addict! I LOVE Coca-Cola. Nothing beats a good fountain one. I love getting them from a old fashioned soda fountain, sometimes with vanilla. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Coke. Unfortunately I loved it too much. The other day my doc told me I have to cut out all caffeine, including chocolate. Talk about a smack in the face. Apparently I drank too much damn caffeine from my Coke habit and that is why my boobs hurt! Can u believe that!

that shit will rot yer gut-ha
my better half drinks coke classic, like water. I drink coffee or tea (no sugar). I will sometimes have a slug of coke(instead of a smoke) after a good
roll in the hay.
yeah mimi, caffeine will cause cysts, but they can go way if you abstain from caffeine-been there done that.

When we were kids, we only got store brand soda, if we got soda at all.

I feel extraordinarily old and curmudgeonly.

"Why, back in my day --- where the hell'r my denchures?"

I don't really like soda. I guess I'm the odd guy out.

ozy: I love RC. But when it comes to cheaper soda, I prefer Shasta.

ol lady: Yeah, most of the workers are over here.

phats: Pepsi's ain't bad. They just ain't coke.

david: Mexican addictions are the bomb ain't they.

perplexio: Are you going on the Love Boat? Say hey to Cap. Stubing for me. He freakin' rules.

dan: Don't trust water. Fish fuck in the water.

red: And in Dublin, TX, they still make the good old fashioned DP with pure cane sugar.

mimi: Foutain cokes are the best. Especcially the old machines that you could really crank up the syrup.

phats: It's hard to find Mr. Pibb in this area. It's sad.

catch: It's good to see you back. And yeah nothing beats the real thing.

cissa: It's good to see you back.

ez: I slug of coke instead of a smoke sounds damn good to me.

golfwidow: Some store brands aren't too bad. Some though are just plain nasty. I have tried far too many of them.

angel: That's alright. Being the odd man out lends an air of distinction.
