I guess Michael at Smoke and Mirrors wondered if I had a serious side. He asked me to stretch a bit and write a slice of life post. I wrote one that needs a crusty voice over by Wilford Brimley.
So yes, I have a serious side. It's just that it's a lot like the Red Hot Chili Pepper's members in concert, I keep a sock over it. So what are you waiting for? Click Here and check out ' The Pond'. While you are at it give Smoke and Mirrors a good read. He's got the skills and when he lets it rip, there's just no telling where he can take you.

It was indeed, the softer side of you Fuzzy. And I liked it very much.
As for Mikey, he's my hero.

Read it, loved it, waiting for more.
And yes, MrMichael ranks right up there with da Fuzz.
It beautiful Fuzz...I can almost see it...the pond, the boat....you did a wonderful job. But that doesnt really suprise me...you have a knack for it. Good job Fuzz!!!
It's a wonderful post, Fuzz.
Not much more to say.

wc: Thanks.
red: I appreciate that.
catch: Awww, shucks.

Would that be a "throbbing sock puppet of love?"
Sorry, couldn't resist ;-)
P.S. I loved your story.
While I appreciate the other side of you, I prefer to think of you this way.

I enjoyed it, thanks for sharing.
I've always thought that you were a 'good ol country boy' and the sweet memory proves it...
Where I grew up the country boys were always the best :)
Wow never would have guessed it awesome!
Who you like that's left on Idol?
enjoyed it Fuzzy :)
Keshi.
Going over there to read it now.
lisa: Excellent use of this great term!!!
david: I can appreciate that.
ez: You're the best. Thanks for being there.
ol' lady: Yep, I'm about as country as it gets.
phats: Thanks!!! It will be a travesty of gigantic proportions if Melinda Doolittle doesn't win. Of course that is what I said of Chris Daugherty last year. He might have lost but he has far better record sales. That might happen again this time around with Melinda.
keshi: Glad that you liked it.
angel, jr: Hope that it doesn't bore you to tears.
Brings back days picking corn, squash, butter beans and peas and other stuff. I was a "forced laborer" but your story took me back to a time when brim the size of your hand could be had with some line, a hook and pieces of bread. Thanks for bringing those memories back the world was indeed right.
atllg: And there is nothing quite like fresh picked butter beans. For both taste and effect. I'm glad that you liked it.
