Round Two

Yes it is time for my Round Two at Beauty versus The Beast. I wonder at the sanity of Siren for allowing me to trash up her blogsite once again. But she is either the most gracious person on the face of the earth or a sucker for punishment. The Phoenix is on hiatus from the site or he probably would have warned her.

Last time in the early going I was trashed by the verbal might of The Weirdgirl but thanks to you, my awesome blogfriends, I was able to eke out a bit of respectability. I decided that this time around I would not make the error of my first appearance. This time I was not going for my beastly best approach but instead I would reach in deep and dig out Mr. Sensitivity.

I had to dig really deep but I found him and banged out my post. I hadn't dug out Mr. Sensitivity in awhile. I found that he is rather sarcastic for a wuss. Perhaps I didn't dig deep enough and found Mr. Wiseass instead of Mr. Sensitivity. You can be the judge on that though by just heading over to BvB and watch as I am pummeled once again.

I just hope that Vic is not a poor winner and at least offers me some sort of consolation prize.

I question Siren's sanity as well.

It looks like you and Vic actually agreed, although from pretty different perspectives.

Funny how you both mention pearl necklaces.

keshi: It's a friendly thing. No one has got hurt yet. Though I am still getting coupon remarks from time to time.

siren: You are much too kind. I enjoyed doing it once more.

phoenix: I guess we share a common love of fine jewelery.

cleveland: Thanks Bud. I 'pershate it.

Does sensitive side mean gay?

laurie: Thanks for noticing.

david: Thanks but hopefully my best can only get better. Cause at times mine is downright pathetic.

ann: Luv ya back :)

big d: No, just chafed.

Good post Fuzz. I like a man with a sarcastic side to go with the sensitivity. Nothing wrong with that.

Omgosh you crack me up. She cracked me up too! I'd have to say that one was a 50/50 split.
But you know, you're right about the guy things. I've caught Tarzan more than once, I'll be babbling my brains out & ask him about what I said and he has this lost look on his face. Then he just says, "What?"
Men!

Loved what you wrote! I commented on their site. I'd love to get involved in something like that, posting on another site that is, not getting jewelry from a co-worker. I've got enough problems. Take care!

green eyes: Thanks glad you liked it.

jane: I get in trouble for that all the time.

whoami: Thanks, guest posting is cool. You should put your name in the hat for future rounds over there. Siren and Phoenix have really hit a good idea.

You made some great points Fuzz, but the problem is, and I can attest to this, that being a wonderful husband isn't always enough. Love can be a fickle thing. If she is accepting romantic gifts, either she's nieve or daft or there is something going on. Of course then again maybe I'm paranoid. You beat the pants off of Vic though and you didn't even have to give her jewelry to get them off.

ozy: Thanks but I think Vic did a great job. Your comments over there were a great addition to the question. You know me though. I have to play it for the humor. It's just my nature.

ranea: Thanks, but sometimes Angry Joyce would like me to be a little bit more of the jealous type on occasion. Can't help it though because trust means a lot to me and I trust her implicitly. Although both of us are insatable flirts, but that is all it is. No harm, No Foul.

You did a great job Fuzz! AND you did a great job when we went head to head. As I recall, it was a pretty even split between us. Especially as everyone just assumed I was a golddigger. ;)

Thanks for pointing me that way, I agree with a lot of what you said...left a much longer comment over there, but the gist of it is that I wouldn't accept jewelry from another man, simply because of the problems it may cause.

Of course, if I were in a GOOD relationship, I might feel differently. ;-)

weirdgirl: You are much too kind. Maybe they will have a best of reprints one of these days and we will be lucky enough to have our post there and titled, 'Gold Digger versus The Tight Ass.'

april: Thank you. Although I added a good dose of sarcasm, the thoughts behind it ring true to me. Trust is important. With it a person has no reason to worry and without everything is a worry.

Oooo...this comment will be more about the piccie in this post of yours than the content.
A friend of mine since many years back, made it. He's living in Japan and his name is Stephen Stahlberg :) His 3D art is amazing :D

He is amazing. This is one of my favorite fantasy scenes. Unlike most pics that I use, I had no idea who the artist was as I lifted it from another blog. I will have to look into his work. I would love to have a print of this particular work to hang over my computer. I think that it would make a very good muse. Thanks for letting me know.
